PALS Courses
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest. Through realistic, simulation-based scenarios, you’ll strengthen your clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills while learning to confidently manage pediatric emergencies.
PREREQUISITE:
Before attending this course, participants must:

Hold a current Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Successfully complete the PALS Pre-course Self-Assessment with a minimum score of 70% (study materials and access are provided after registration).

PALS Provider
Complete your initial Heart & Stroke Foundation Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through realistic, simulation-based training focused on pediatric emergencies.
Certification Valid for 2 Years | Cost: $300 + GST
Initial PALS Certification
Designed for healthcare professionals and students completing their initial PALS certification, or those renewing a certification that has been expired for more than four months.
Blended Learning
Approximately 14 hours of combined online learning and instructor-led classroom training over two days.
Pre-Course Assessment Requried
Complete the required PALS Pre-course Self-Assessment with a minimum score of 70% before attending the course.
Simulation-Based Pediatric Training
Build confidence in assessing and managing pediatric emergencies through realistic scenarios that strengthen clinical decision-making, communication, and high-performance teamwork.

PALS Recertification
