Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is a Heart & Stroke course that is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies, including cardiac arrest, stroke, acute coronary syndromes, and dysrhythmias.

This course is built for physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, dentists, and other healthcare professional who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in emergency, critical care, or acute care settings.

Train with us in the eSIM lab or designated space with realistic equipment, feedback and scenarios.
Every instructor has hands-on experience in emergency and/ or critical care. You'll be learning from people who've ran real codes, not just taught about them.
Our courses go beyond individual skills to focus on how your team performs together under pressure.
What you'll learn
Develop confidence in advanced airway management, ECG interpretation, pharmacology, team leadership, and high-performance resuscitation. Through simulation-based scenarios, you'll build the skills to:

Recognize and manage cardiac arrest, bradycardia, and tachycardia

Perform defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion

Manage airways using adjuncts and other equipment

Respond to acute coronary syndromes and stroke

Lead and communicate within a high-performance resuscitation team
Prerequisites
Before attending the in-person class, participants must:

Hold a current Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certificate (expired? email admin@aclsabcs.com)

Complete the ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment Certificate with a passing score of 70% or higher
Course materials
Participants will require the current Heart & Stroke ACLS learning resources. Printed manuals can be purchased through ACLS ABCs.
